The rooms have recently been remodeled and new carpet put in. I stayed for a week had no complaints it was quiet and relaxing. Staff was nice and the prices were decent. A much better hotel to stay at than the shamrock down the street. Would definitely return for another stay. It also has plenty of parking and if you use public transportation there is a bus stop right in front and the L-train is just down the street it is very convenient if you want to stay out of the city but still be able to take public transportation to go down town and not have to take your car. And it beats paying downtown hotel prices.
